Commissioning

Publish with DGF

DGF Publishing accepts a small number of commissions. A commission is taken only where the subject merits the treatment and where the facts can be established and approved. Selection is editorial: a proposal is considered, not bought.

A commission concerns the production and distribution of a publication. It is not a transaction mandate, a valuation, a due-diligence certificate or an endorsement of the subject.

How a commission proceeds

  1. 01

    Proposal

A short written description of the subject and its stage.

  2. 02

    Suitability and scope review

Whether the subject is one DGF Publishing should examine, and on what terms.

  3. 03

    Agreed commission

Scope, responsibilities, rights and access are written down before work begins.

  4. 04

    Editorial production

Research, verification, writing, photography and design.

  5. 05

    Factual and rights approval

Facts are confirmed, and image and document rights are recorded.

  6. 06

    Authorised publication and distribution

Release only against a recorded approval, through the agreed channels.

What can be commissioned

  • Editions

A single publication devoted to one property, holding or undertaking.

  • Institutional papers

Longer written work for an institution, association or professional body.

  • Perspectives

News, analysis, practical explanation and interviews within our editorial subjects.

  • Photography and design

Commissioned photography, layout and print-ready production.

  • Private and controlled distribution

Publication restricted to a named readership rather than the public index.

Fees, formats and distribution are settled in writing for each commission. No price list, circulation figure or readership number is published, because none has been established.

Propose an Edition

A short description is enough at this stage. Please do not send confidential documents, personal data about third parties or transaction papers with a first proposal.

Submitting a proposal does not create acceptance, exclusivity, a transaction mandate, private access or a professional engagement. An appointed agent retains its mandate and its client relationship. Your details are stored only to consider the proposal, as described in the privacy notice.

Contributors

Writing for Perspectives

Practitioners, specialists and researchers may propose a contribution to Perspectives. A contribution is not a sponsored placement, and a proposal carries no guarantee of publication: contributions are verified, edited and, where a legal or tax position is involved, reviewed by a named specialist before any decision is taken.
